I am Lacey Reynolds and I am the owner of Lacey Reynolds Photography. What started as a high school hobby with a hand-me-down camera has turned into a passion and a business. I have been a natural light photographer in the Southeast Missouri Area seasonally for years and now consistently for two years!
I have had the honor and privilege of capturing couples choosing their person, babies being born, families growing, and women being empowered by their own beauty. I feel so blessed to be chosen by each client and I try to make them feel equally special! I live in the beauty of the small things and moments in life. often my favorite moments I have captured are the unexpected candid moments that I may have been the only one to notice.

Life happens
I am divorced and so was my husband. We were lucky enough to find each other and heal together (LOTS of patience and therapy). I'm not perfect at really anything. BUT I find there is a whole lot of beauty in the imperfections of life! We enjoy traveling and seeing our favorite artists in concert! Our taste in music is almost as a wide as our age gap.

Yep, you read that right. I grew up literally a mile down the road from my father and had no idea, and he didn't either. I was raised by the mother of the man who actually was never my father, or much of a dad. So yeah that was cool!
Spoiler alert I have the best dad, and my kids have the most amazing Pawpaw.
Family is everything
Growing up without a strong family unit made MY family a priority to me!

Seriously though some days are rough, and the trenches are deep (anyone else have a teenager!?), and other days are full of giggles and fun. If you have all the answers to a cohesive and perfect blended family my inbox is ALWAYS open, because I sure do NOT. We may not have all the answers, but we have built our family on respect, kindness, and love for ALL the people we may encounter.
Motherhood
Motherhood has been my dream since I was a little girl. and here's the above 100 percentile little big guy who made me a mom. He is my heart and soul and if his face didn't give it away in my last photo he is actually my only biological child. To be fair he was his father and brother's twin at birth, so I take great pride in the fact that he now favors me! The amount of unpaid child labor he has put in accompanying me

As a new mom myself I know how important capturing every little wrinkle and dimple of your new baby is! I love the authenticity of photographing you and your baby where all their core memories are created, in YOUR home!

Family
Family photos are a treasure. Each year of passing time goes faster than you think. In this digital age we have lost the need for physical photos. One of my favorite memories as a kid is going through old boxes of photos and listening to stories about the people in them

Boudoir
I shoot boudoir once a month as a way to empower women and their bodies! I think every woman is beautiful and I take it as my personal mission to make sure she walks away from her shoot feeling like a total baddie

Wedding
I shoot weddings on request. I take four weddings per year at this time! I love the tiny little details of a wedding day!
